ICARS releases Request for Proposals

19 May 2025ICARS have just released a new Request for Proposals (RFP) for projects that integrate AMR mitigation with climate-smart solutions.
It is seeking to fund small-scale action research studies that integrate and measure climate change mitigation and/or adaptation strategies with reduced antimicrobial use (AMU) and AMR mitigation measures in livestock and aquaculture systems across LMICs in Asia and the Pacific. This RFP aims to support research that identifies, measures and evaluates practical solutions that simultaneously address the dual challenges of AMR and climate change. The research should focus on testing and evaluating evidence-based approaches that can be implemented in resource-constrained settings where these challenges are most acute.
