Making CLIMAR more effective

Making CLIMAR more effective

CLIMAR has been working with social impact consultancy Skating Panda on our Impact Framework and also our communications. Working with them has helped us identify our priority audiences to reach with the message that climate change and AMR are interconnected. Skating Panda are also helping us, as a nascent network with this big message, to work on using our comms channels to support what is happening inside the network itself.

We want to improve our awareness of what is happening within CLIMAR – not only what network members are publishing, but what they’re working on that they might want to inform others about – ongoing projects, upcoming events, calls for particular specialists to inform ongoing research. We want to make the network more tangible, and more effective.

We also want you to take advantage of the comms channels we have at our disposal, and understand how CLIMAR could be useful to both promote your work and connect you to other network members.

What’s available?

You will have already seen our bimonthly newsletter; we also have blog functionality on our website, a BlueSky account, and a nice new LinkedIn page. Please do follow it if you’re on LinkedIn, and please do let us know if you have anything you’re working on that CLIMAR can help to promote through these channels.

What do you need to do as a network member?

A shiny-looking email will come round once a month – please respond to it with anything you’d like to share that’s climate and/or AMR related, anything that could do with a push through LinkedIn or BlueSky, any requests for other members to get in touch, anything you think might work for a blog.
