In this CLIMAR webinar, Victoria Saint (University of Bielefeld) will discuss AMR and social equity, drawing on intersections with climate change.
Victoria Saint is Research Fellow and Doctoral Candidate in the Department of Population Health and Health Services Research (AG2 Bevölkerungsmedizin und Versorgungsforschung) in the School of Public Health at Bielefeld University.

She is a global public health researcher and policy analyst specialising in health equity and the social determinants of health (SDH). Her doctoral research focuses on the equity, SDH and gender dimensions of antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

Victoria also works as a consultant for the International Centre for Antimicrobial Resistance Solutions (ICARS), to support teams in six LMICs to integrate gender and equity dimensions in AMR implementation research projects in the human health and animal health sectors.

She has also worked with the AMR Division at WHO headquarters to finalise an evidence synthesis and guidance for national stakeholders on integrating equity dimensions of AMR.
